It must be noted that after this installation and subsequent rebooting, the onboard audio wan’t recognised in windows – installed drivers downloaded from asrock web AMD cool n quiet driver, 939dul-sata2 ata driver, serial ata 2 driver – Then I 939daul-sata2 unninstalling uli’s audio drivers, and installing realtek driver available at asrocks web.

I check audio props and no sound is muted, and i made sure speakers worked correctly i installed a very old soundblaster live soundcard, and i had sound, but it was a little bit crappy, so i want onboard audio to work Thanks for the tips.
Look in Device manager and see if the sound card appears to be installed properly. Yep, al volume controls enabled.
